I was lucky enough last year to find a set of six vintage rosewood dining chairs of Danish design. I adore these chairs, but of course the seats needed to be recovered. I chose two different fabrics and reupholstered four of the chairs in a heavy gray wool and the other two in a gray & white pattern.

I recovered both times simply with a staple gun (my favourite tool), and it took only an hour.
Now if only a personal makeover was that easy. Happy DIY'ing. :)
