I just had to show off the birthday present that my nephew made for me - a natural rustic hook made from a piece of driftwood and old nails. I've hung it in my kitchen to serve as organized storage for measuring spoons, utensils, dried herbs and the like. Finding simple ways to organize the practical items in my kitchen allows me to feel less cluttered and more able to enjoy cooking and baking.
The live edge wood cutting board and cedar trivet add warmth and a ruggedness that mimics the woodlot that surrounds my home. The driftwood hanger adds whimsy and function.
If you're inspired to create something similar in your kitchen, the trivet and cutting/serving boards are available over at the shop. Happy organizing!
